Swimming

Just sending through a swimming update. Students received a notice last week and have been reminded that our Swimming Excursion has now changed from today (Monday 7th) to Wednesday 9th from 10am – 12.30pm.

Students need to bring all items listed on the notice, including a normal lunch and recess and of course, if possible be wearing their bathers underneath.

Carols Information

Just passing on some extra Carols information for Wednesday!

  1. The oval will be marked with witches hats and families will be able to sit anywhere within that space.
  2. Families to arrive and sit within the marked areas, with their children, for a picnic from 5.30 – 6.30pm
  3. Stephen will welcome the community at 6.30pm
  4. School captains will introduce the PLT who is to sing next
  5. Students in each of the PLTs will stand up and sing from the spot that they are sitting with their families and will be accompanied by backing music
  6. Families will have the words to the communal singing placed on TiqBiz/FB for them to follow on the night
  7. The evening will conclude with grade 6 singing Celebration.

This coming Wednesday we are holding our annual Christmas Carols and YOU are ALL invited!!

Where: Oval

Time: 5.30pm with the evening performances starting by 6.30 pm

Bring: Your own picnic food and blanket to share with your family

Science Incursion

Science Incursion

After learning all about Forces this term, we were lucky enough to have a free incursion today! Not only did we get to explore what magnets are, but we also got the chance to create our own magnets and explore what items are magnetic. We even starting discussing high school language with electrons and magnetic fields…very interesting stuff!
